About

Yongdan Studio

Yongdan Studio is an independent illustration and stationery brand creating thoughtful objects that bring beauty, warmth, and a little sense of wonder into everyday life.

We believe the things we surround ourselves with can subtly shape how we feel. A beautiful notebook can invite us to slow down and reflect. A small illustration can bring comfort, spark a memory, or simply make an ordinary day feel a little more special.

Inspired by women, childhood, nature, and the quiet moments of everyday life, each piece begins with an original illustration and is thoughtfully developed into something made to be enjoyed, used, and kept.

Our aesthetic is gentle yet refined, timeless with a touch of whimsy. From journals and paper goods to art prints and small keepsakes, we hope to create pieces that bring a little more beauty, joy, and meaning to the everyday.

Meet the Artist

Hi! I’m Aimee, the artist and founder behind Yongdan Studio.

My path to becoming an artist wasn’t a straight one.

I loved drawing from an early age, but eventually followed a more conventional path — earning an MBA and building a career across aviation, luxury PR, data analytics, and product management at Amazon.

Art stayed quietly with me throughout those years. Over time, I found myself returning to it more and more, until I realized I wanted to build a life around creating.

In 2024, I founded Yongdan Studio and returned to drawing.

Today, I create each illustration and develop it into stationery, art, and small objects for everyday life. I’m especially drawn to the emotions and little moments we sometimes overlook—the tenderness of childhood, the inner worlds of women, the changing seasons, and the beauty found in ordinary days.

Yongdan Studio is my way of making everyday life feel a little more beautiful and meaningful.

Thank you for being here and for giving my work a place in your life.
